Dear Friends

I wish you all a very happy and healthy new year. The mankind has witnessed a tremendous change in their living pattern and way of looking at our fellow beings in the last two years. Neurosurgeons as a part of this dynamic world were not left untouched and slowly but decisively got adjusted to the new normal. The clinical services and academic activities have suffered to unfathomable dimensions, Yet our dynamic leaders and enthusiastic fraternity managed to maintain the flow of learning and educating with the help of print and electronic media in various formats. The Neurological Society of India conference has always been an excellent academic meeting. The two years, gone by, we could not have a physical conference due to the prevailing Covid Pandemic, but we did not allow loosing of thread. We kept engaged in innumerable Webinars and discussions throughout this hard time under the banner of NSI.

Only few weeks ago NSICON 2021 proved a grand success on virtual platform. Kudos to the organizer the present secretary and president, Dr. K. Sridhar and Dr. V. P. Singh. This year we hope to have in-person NSICON 2022, in the City of Taj - Agra. Neurological Society of India in general and organizing committee in particular will ensure to have all COVID specific precautions. I am aware that the charm and opportunities of in-person meetings are tremendous. I assure you to provide the best chances of learning, training and education for furtherance of Neurosciences during these four days. Needless to emphasize the social exposition and understanding with fellow delegates.

As Scientific committee chairman, I am eager to invite and welcome you all to NSICON 2022 at Agra, housing Marvel of Marble "The Taj Mahal". We are planning preconference hands-on workshops and lectures from reputed international and national faculty in every subspeciality of Neurosciences. Japan Neuro Surgical Society will be our guest society. It will be in fitness of things to state that you all are going to be witness to the confluence of next generation art and Science in Neuro Surgery during the said meeting. It goes in concordance with the theme of NSICON-22 "Journey of Excellence: From Past to Future".

The High end scientific activity will be punctuated by several absorbing social events, traditional shopping opportunities and delightful site seeing. Please mark your calendar-2022 for December 8 th through 11th , Thursday till Sunday.
